1. Hidden values - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
The real answer is that it is scattered on the forums. Things change so fast, and so often nothing in terms of descriptions gets updated in game, that you have to kind of dig for the information, or accept it from the words of those that have tak...

2. Huge Difficulty Spike ? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
@ Devis You have a long road ahead. This game has RPG elements, that though fun, have created a massive chasm between new players and veterans. First off, SP is quite a grind, and confers quite an advantage. Even wearing the same gear, a vet li...

5. new player - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Like GunZ said, go for your upgrades first. Your priorities at this point should be Armor and Shields to increase your HP across all suits, and Electronics and Engineering to increase what you will be able to carry. Dampening and Precision are a...

6. Sniper newbie - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
As someone who started the game as a sniper, I can tell you this game is NOT sniper friendly. The game itself has always made it difficult for snipers to be effective enough to be relevant, particularly on a skirmish map, but over the last year o...

7. Skills have no effect - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Some of those skills are also less effective and once you get to a certain point there is little reason to skill further. I love my NKs, but there is no point to level 5 proficiency as the cost is too high and the benefit so little.

8. New scout, need some help - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Cloak will only be relevant once you get to level 4 and 5 in racial scouts because of fittings. Even then they are a bit of a pain. You have to learn to decloak without the glitch causing you not to switch weapons etc. They are a pain. In the mea...

9. Trouble deciding on a Scout suit - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I think you would be better off in Gallente. You can always have a fit with Codebreakers if you want hacking, and the dampening bonus will get you around unseen easier without as many Complex Dampeners. This allows other things to be tossed in yo...

10. When is it ok to die lots of times? - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Something else to consider is when learning something new, particularly when it is something significantly different from what you are used to. I think in that instance, you are doing yourself a favor by being willing to fail in order to learn. S...
